Texas Historical Markers on the campus of SFA

The Texas Historical Commission has approved additional historical markers for the SFA campus. There are in the process of being written and cleared for casting. Two of these markers will stand in front of the Old Stone Fort. The Boynton marker will stand in Founder's Square between the Austin and the Rusk Buildings; the Birdwell Field, Aikman Gym, Women's Recreation Center marker will be at the corner of Aikman Drive and Raguet Street.

85th Anniversary Year

Historical Markers Pending

The following markers have received approval from the Texas Historical Commission marker committee and are being written at the present. These markers will be placed on the SFA campus during the 2008-2009 academic year (with the exception of the Nine Flags Marker which will stand on the historic Plaza Principal of Nacogdoches.)
